
Australian Textile Art Award (ATAA)
The Australian Textile Art Award is a biennial juried non-acquisitive award of $2000.

ATAA 2026: In addition to the $2000 ATAA, sponsored by ArtWear Publications, there are three other non-acquisitive prizes –

- Judges’ Highly Commended – $500 (Sponsored by Lynda Anne)
- Best Use of Embroidery – $500 (Sponsored by The Embroiderers Guild, Victoria (EGV) – awarded at the discretion of the EGV)
- Viewers’Choice – $100 (Sponsor to be advised)

16th November 2026 Closing date for submission of entries
30th November 2026 Notification of finalists
8th to 12th February 2027 Delivery of selected artworks via Post or Courier
To be advised Delivery of selected artworks in person to the EGV
19th February 2027 Official opening and the ATAA winner announced
20th to 28th February 2027 Exhibition at EGV (10am-4pm weekends included)
1st March 2027 Collection of sold/unsold artworks
