Australian Fibre Art Award (AFAA) 2021 Book

The book of the inaugural Australian Fibre Art Award – a biennial national award.

Fibre artists from across Australia were invited to enter recent, unseen works. Our judges chose the finalists by independently assessing the artworks using the photos and statements supplied by the artists, before coming together and compiling the resultant list of 25 artworks displayed for you in this book.

Each eligible entry was assessed for quality of composition and overall design; uniqueness of concept, originality and creativity; technical execution; choice of technique(s) to impart the message/idea; and overall impression.

A commission from all books ordered during the running of the Exhibition of the AFAA 2021 at Gallery76 will be given to The Embroiderers’ Guild, NSW.

Due to COVID ramifications, we are expecting this book to be back from the printers by the end of the week beginning 6th September 2021, and your order will be posted out ASAP after it arrives.
